El Bamboo Cabins - Balgue

Staying here was a pleasure, we would come here again, no complaints. For safety measures it had smoke detectors. The owner met us and explained everything.

I had an amazing experience at the bamboo cabins! the host, Che, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He gave me lots of information about the local area and recommended some great places to eat. the cabins themselves were unique and made from natural materials, which added to the charm. the location was perfect, close to the lake and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. I loved the peaceful garden surrounding the cabins. I highly recommend staying at El Bamboo Cabins for an authentic and enjoyable stay on Ometepe Island. Cons: Was all great! 😊.

The staff were superbly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere throughout the stay was quiet and comfortable. The setting by the lake was fantastic.

We had a perfectly pleasant stay in Balgue not far from the island with the locals, and the beach. We loved really helpful staff and host. The bedroom was separate with views over the lake. Having a bathtub was great.

Natural setting with a garden and hammocks outside, and the locals are nearby. The staff is friendly and approachable. 🌿

We loved the fully equipped kitchen and the fan to keep us cool. the beautiful garden surrounding the cabin added to the cozy vibe. Che and Indira were great hosts and always available for local recommendations. the sunset views from the lake shore were stunning.

Felt at ease, no complaints whatsoever.

The owner made my stay great. There were such thoughtful touches as a fridge, a work desk, and a dining area that were really useful. It's in an incredible place. I went to Mi Rinconcito Madera, located close to the apartment, and was totally satisfied.

This place is a good base for traveling to Balgue, and it's nice to have shower facilities and bath sheets in the bathroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, it was fabulous. Had nice bed, a coffee machine, a dining area, and a study table for our needs. We could see patio from the apartment.

The bamboo cabins at El Bamboo Cabins are beautifully built and made from natural materials. the personal kitchen is great for preparing meals, and the hot water in the bathrooms is a nice touch. the cabins are clean and wonderfully cool, thanks to their proximity to the lake and smart design. There's also a shared hammock area with a good view of the sunset. the host, Che, is lovely and incredibly helpful, offering recommendations for local restaurants and shops.

We loved everything about our stay at El Bamboo Cabins. The location is very nice, right next to the lake and surrounded by lush jungle. We felt close to nature and enjoyed living amongst the locals. The cabin itself was amazing, spacious, and well-designed. The host, Che, was fantastic. He was cute, friendly, and passionate about the island. He provided us with great advice and recommendations on things to do and see. We also loved the proximity to the restaurant, which served delicious food.

Couldn't find any faults at all.

Stayed in a cabin with a lovely view of the lake. The handmade furniture was beautiful and the cabin stayed cool, no need for the fan. Kitchen well equipped and good restaurants nearby.
